This online database is a good starting point for beginning grant seekers. It features the 10,000 largest U.S. foundations. Please ask a Reference Librarian for the username and password.

 

Foundation Grants to Individuals Online  

This database allows you to search through detailed descriptions of more than 6,000 foundation programs that fund students, artists, researchers, and other individual grant seekers.  Within seconds, you can generate a list of prospective funders.  Please ask a Reference Librarian for the Username and Password.
