Contains all of Harold Bloom's criticism for novels, plays, etc. as well as information on various authors.

 

Literature Resource Center   house

 Access biographies, bibliographies, and critical analyses of more than 140,000 authors from every age and literary discipline with this database.

 

Literature Resources from Gale   house

Research authors and their works, literary movements and genres. Search across several major Literature databases, including LitFinder, Literature Resource Center, and the Gale Virtual Reference Library, to find full text of literary works, journal articles, literature criticism, reviews, biographical information, and overviews.

 

LitFinder   house

International in scope, this database covers all time periods and contains a wealth of primary literature content including more than 126,500 full text poems, 850,000 poem citations and excerpts, 5,000 full-text short stories, 2,800 full-text essays, 1,800 full-text speeches, and 1,000 full-text plays. LitFinder also includes biographies, work summaries, photographs, and a glossary.

 

Scribner Writers Online   house

Provides access to the esteemed Scribner literature content, including the American Writers Collection, British Writers Collection, European Writers Collection and World and Genre Writers Collection.

 

Twayne's Author Series   house

This database provides literary critical interpretation and discussion of nearly 600 authors and their works, as well as literary movements and genres. Available via NOVEL, a project of the New York State Library, federally funded by LSTA grants.

 

Virtual Reference Library (Gale)   house

Electronic versions of many popular Reference books.
